Single-patch textures in DOOM ][Some level design tricks make use of suspended textures: middle textures placed on 2-sided line defs. But the DOOM engine can only use single-patch textures in such situations without HOM. If you inadvertently try a multi-patch texture, you can drive yourself crazy trying to figure out why the trick texture isn't displaying properly. From within many wad editors, there is no way to tell whether a texture is single- or multi-patch. I looked them all up using Wintex and made this alphabetical list for quick reference.
